Measures for fertilizing corn

It is important to understand the fertilizer requirements of corn: the seedling stage of corn is the key period for phosphorus and potassium fertilizer requirements, and the big bell stage before heading is the key period for nitrogen fertilizer requirements.

The determination of fertilization amount should be based on the yield. Generally, 35kg of urea, 15kg of diammonium, 20kg of Potassium sulfate should be applied to the plot with an output of 700kg per mu, and more farm manure, Zinc sulfate, borax and other micro fertilizers should be applied to the plot with an output of more than 800kg per mu.

Fertilization period and method: During the seedling stage, all phosphorus, potassium fertilizer, about 20% nitrogen fertilizer, and zinc fertilizer should be applied as base fertilizer (seed fertilizer) at once.
